GET TO KNOW ME

My name is George and I am a qualified Gestalt Counsellor based in Southampton. I have much experience of client work and have dealt with a wide range of issues.

Gestalt is a humanistic approach to counselling which focuses on our individual experiences and how we relate to others and our environment. It focuses on the 'here and now' and aims to raise awareness. With a greater awareness it can become easier to recognize and understand habitual patterns and behaviours allowing for natural change and growth.

I offer a safe and professional environment for us to work together in. Everything in our sessions will be kept strictly confidential. I also feel it is of great importance that you, the client, feel respected, accepted, and free from any judgement. You will receive my full attention and care throughout the session, helping you to feel truly listened to.

I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) which means I work in accordance to their ethical framework.

​

I will work with a wide range of issues including but not limited to; anxiety, depression, addiction, stress, trauma, sexuality, phobias,and bereavement.
